About Adam.

Adam Majdecki‑Janicki (born 1985) began his artistic path in the Polish cassette underground in 1998. As a teenager he recorded home‑made tapes filled with raw folk/punk/blues/psychedelic songs, shaped by the immediacy of lo‑fi methods and the spirit of DIY experimentation. Among the influences he still recalls today are Syd Barrett, The Velvet Underground, Monster Magnet, Woody Guthrie, Sawyer Brown, and Captain Beefheart. During those early years he worked under the pseudonym Adam Sandosa, a name borrowed from the first Amon Düül LP, Psychedelic Underground. Under that alias he developed an intuitive, unpolished musical language built on improvisation, simple structures, and a distinctly psychedelic edge. Although the aesthetics and tools evolved over time, Majdecki‑Janicki never stopped creating. From late‑90s cassette DIY to his current projects, he has remained active as a writer, musician, and experimenter — steadily building his own independent world of sounds and texts, now far into the “future” from where it all began.

Yowling and howling down the bowling crumbling
staircase of indecision
got that yesterday afternoon
feeling
still remembering August fiestas
under grilled sunlights of Avalon
pearls

but that was a cat’s paw memoir

being reality’s ashcan

Howling and yowling down the kitchen’s
flimsiness
still believing that another shaving
will punctuate my brain’s cliche
and make it work

now to the bathroom

admiring women only these days
and their solitary velvet nostalgias
w/ overburnt fingertips
giving come-hither looks
crawl-nearer smiles

avoiding f*ck-ups
concentrating on my mantra
and butter
watching the window creak
hearing my bread cry

why is the whirlwind still young
and the dog barking willing
yowling and howling
shaving the beard he’s been growing
for rainbows
